Fundraising - It's How We Give

Raising pledges is the key to helping those in need and is critical to the event.  Fundraising is how we continue the patient assistance giving program.

We ask that each participant goal themselves to raise $500. This is the amount Pink Ribbon Riders gives to one patient in need.

And you can raise pledges to cover your sign up!

Ask 10 friends for $10, or turn in your recycle cans…every penny adds up.  Goal yourself for $500 and help one patient.

Here is how simple it can be:

  • Online Fundraising:  Once you sign up our program offers a fundraising page you create and can share via social media and email
  • Your donors receive an automatic receipt and the program keeps your total for you.
  • OR print out your own pledge raising form to collect in person donations
  • Utilize our fundraising tools below

fundraising toolkit

Click or or print any of the items below to introduce you to the event, contests, and fundraising.

participant basket contest

Bring a donated basket for a chance to win a prize and be a key player in the success of the snow run event.  Asking for support of a donated item or basket from a business in your area helps bring awareness to the organization and its mission. The basket contest was started to add excitement and additional raffle items for fundraising.

How it works:
  • The idea is for you not to spend money.
  • Prior to the event, use the letter below to ask either one or more businesses for an item(s) to create your unique basket.
  • Idea: A themed basket is usually a big hit
  • Saturday morning:  Fill out this BASKET FORM and bring with you to drop off your basket at check in
  • During the party, baskets are voted on with dollar donations.  The basket with the most money wins a prize
  • PRINT – Participant ask letter

Bra decorating contest

A long tradition, the founders put bras on their sleds and rode in honor of breast cancer patients!  Keep the tradition alive and unique to Pink Ribbon Riders while helping to raise funds for those in need.

  • Saturday am:  Complete bra entry form at check-in.
  • Rules:
  • Must wear bra to help spread awareness during the “hunt”.
  • The BRA that comes back with the most money raised during the “hunt” wins an additional prize.
  • Must be turned in at same time as the “hunt” card for verification.

Best Dressed Contest

This years theme: TBA

Take the bra decorating one step further to help spread awareness during the TRAIL RIDE AND/OR the BRA HUNT and rock an outfit or themed costume.

  • Complete best dressed form at check-in.
  • Wear your outfit all day or come dressed for the awards party.
  • Continue to rock your outfit into the evening.
  • Prizes awarded.

Vehicle / sled decorating Contest

Another long time tradition for fun and awareness and great prizes!

  • Saturday am: Fill out form at check in.
  • Judging to be done on Saturday morning.
  • Whether you are on 4 wheels or a track the fun continues to help tell more people about Pink Ribbon Riders.
  • Prize awarded at party.

team recognition

We encourage you to gather your friends by signing up and raising pledges together as a team.

How it works:

  • The team that raises the most amount of money together with EACH individual person raising money under their own name will be recognized
